It’s super lightweight, easy to carry, and simple to operate. The unit itself only weighs 155 grams which translates to less than half a pound. If you rent boats or fish from the shore, this is the type of fish finder you want since you can’t necessarily attach anything to a boat. The obvious number one reason people go for this fish finder is because it’s portable. Bear in mind, it won’t blow you away like some of the best fish finders I’ve reviewed in the past.
